Green Tara Skin and Body is proud to offer NovaLash and Aeris Aesthetics Eyelash Extensions, a glamorous new way to extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes. They are a practical, convenient and beautiful alternative to the daily use of mascara. Unlike decades-old, traditional false lashes, lash extensions are the first innovation in lash lengthening that can be worn daily, without nightly removal. Because each tapered, synthetic lash is bonded to a single natural lash, the final result is of effortless glamour and difficult to detect even close up. We use the strongest and highest quality medical grade glues that are designed for sensitive eyes.

What to Expect
We will conduct a thorough consultation to warrant your safety and to coach on care to ensure the longevity of the lash extensions. A stylist will cleanse and prime your lashes and add a hydrating pad to the lower lashes to protect the lower lash line and the skin during the eyelash extension procedure. A single lash extension or fine cluster of Russian lash extensions with desired lengths and thickness will be added to each individual natural lash creating a desired look. This procedure can take up to three hours. You will need to be able to lie on your back with your eyes closed for this long. Refills can take up to an hour and a half. Many clients listen to podcasts, chat with the stylist or fall asleep.
How long do Lash Extensions last?
We use a very high quality, no fume glue which is made for sensitive eyes that has a 6 week bond average. The factors that affect the bond are oil based products, oily skin and waterproof products. Touch ups are needed when extensions grow out and start to twist or when lashes fall out naturally. This depends on your natural lash growth speed. Most clients schedule a touch up every three weeks, but are sometimes needed every two weeks.
Can I swim, shower, or steam room with Lash Extensions?
Absolutely! That's what lash extensions are designed for. It's so convenient to get out of a shower or swimming pool and look amazing. The cure time for the glue is typically 24 hours, so just avoid these activities during the cure time.
Can I apply mascara and eyeliner makeup to Lash Extensions?
Most definitely. Lash extensions allow you to not have to curl you lashes or wear messy mascara. Your lashes will look great without makeup and hold an amazing curl. They dramatically darken the lash line to make it so liner isn't necessary, but if it's a look you desire just make sure you do not use waterproof eyeliners and waterproof mascara.
How do I take care of my Lash Extensions?
Many factors will wear on your extensions, be sure to avoid these activities to maintain your look the longest:
• Cleanse the eye area and lashes with lint free applicators and gentle foaming face wash, no cotton makeup remover wipes.
• Avoid rubbing your eyes too much. Rub from the corners if you have to.
• Be careful with towels, the cotton loves to get caught in your lashes.
• Avoid oil-based products and waterproof makeup. Water based mascara and water based mascara remover is okay.
• Do no sleep on stomach. Sleeping on sides can also be an issue, be sure to not press face your eyelashes into pillow, they can get caught in linen.
• Gently wipe across lash line, between the lashes and across the eyelid and rinse eye area with water
• Do not wash eyes or shower for 24 hours after lash application.
